Main features

The reducers allow to modify the transmission ratio between motor and machine. The (environmental) ambient operating temperature reaches 50°C. The service factor (FS) allows to identify, in first approximation, the type of application considering:

- the load kind (uniform, with moderate hits, with strong hits)

-the operating life h/d (daily hours)

-the number of drives/h

This coefficient must be equal or lower than the relation between  the rated torque of the reducer and the torque required by the application.

-with gears

- worm reduction units equipped with high efficiency Marelli motors according to the directives in force with die-cast  aluminum case and high resistance cast-iron case. In order to choose the reducers it's necessary to know some data:

-incoming and outcoming angular speed and so the reduction ratio.

-the torque required by the application.

The FS has to be added to these data, a value that must consider the variability of the loads and the severity of the application, in order to guarantee the reliability and endurance of reducers.

Siti reducers

The simple reducers (series I-MI) are characterized by 12 sizes and powers up to 18.5 kW. They have a die-cast aluminum case (up to the 80 size) and a painted cast-iron case for larger sizes. The reducers with square case(U-MU series) have got frames made with aluminum alloy, especially designed to facilitate the cleaning operations in hostile environments.

Tramec and Varmec reducers

Produced by two flexible and fast companies, these reducers can replace the Bonfiglioli and Siti ones. They're available in the worm version (X and K series), with pre cylindrical couple (H series) and double-worm combined. The reducers with gears must be added: with orthogonal axles, parallel axles, hanging, angular transmission and coaxial.
