Noise at work
The noise is a double problem: it’s linked first of all to the hygiene on work, matter strictly connected to the employer-employee relation, and subsequently to the emission towards the external environment, which is a matter of company-environment relation. In both cases some limits must be respected, in referring to the operating area (environmentally) and to the working type and timetable of the employees. On the average it’s possible to operate at 85dB(A) without causing big troubles to the operators, and it’s also possible to require specific attentions if we’re talking about non-continuous noise reception.
Rimor Silent
The soundproof material called Rimor Silent is a compound of flameproof carbon, inert plastic materials and fibres alloyed with additional flameproof compounds. It’s a long-lasting material and it has been used for years in several applications. Rimor has produced a version of it suitable for industrial machines and provided with adequate consistency and thickness for the applications. The Rimor Silent material is certified “Ed2” for fire resistance in according with the European directive in force.
