Water-cooled shaft motors

Applications

Rimor manufactures Motors with a water-cooled shaft for furnaces, agitators, or other applications which need an operating temperature up to 900°C. They’re also used in environments in which an outward-facing resistance is required, as for operations in an inert environment.

Available sizes

Rimor has produced applications with powers up to 75 kW.
For higher powers, the evaluation of the motor critical speeds and maximum loads is available.

Materials

Rimor works out the fitting materials for the client’s application, also appropriate to the work temperatures. The available materials are AISI 304, AISI 309, AISI 310S and outward-facing resistances for inert environment.

Accessories

The accessories for these motors are: PTC, PT100 (on bearings as on windings), flow and speed meters.
